Because of his core strength of restaurant business in both kitchen and service area, in short period his restaurant “LEE KITCHEN” had become a destination for famous businessmen, the cabinet, and Bangkok’s aristocrats. With a great success on Chan Road, LEE KITCHEN on Silom Road had been launched to serve Japanese market and formal business dinners. Five years later in 1996, he founded “LEE Place” , a serviced apartment where it has a home-cooking style coffee shop - LEE Coffee House, and another LEE KITCHEN on 3th floor. He also expanded the business into casual restaurants LEE Cafe’ in late 2004, its first outlet at Erawan Bangkok- Rachaprasong. With an overwhelmed market response since then, now there are 10 outlets all over Bangkok, including Suvannabhumi airport.
While the group of business expanding, Mr. LEE is still be the head chef of LEE KITCHEN,
and take care of his customers constantly. He always updates his knowledge and develops his kitchen skills from time to time. He also goes to fresh markets by himself to control quality of ingredients, because he believes they provide the best dishes of his.
Latest, in 2012, he is selected to be the IRON CHEF - Thailand, the T.V. show, as Chinese Cuisine Chef. Actually, he cooks well both East and West Cuisine, to fuse technique and ingredients appropriately is his talent. In the near future, he will open a chef’s table presenting his culinary professional though his cuisine to special guests who are interested in LEE recipes. |
